Since #covid19 became part of all our lives 3-3.5 months ago, there has been INFINITE talk about safety and protection in the battle against disease and illness.
Very little of this discussion has centered around our front line of defense--our immune system.
And probably the BEST WAY to help strengthen your immune system is a daily regimen of functional activity, energy eating and developing skills to help you manage your mindset.
Moving our bodies helps us produce hormones that help TURN UP how white blood cells fight off disease in addition to helping our stress hormones work WITH us, rather than against us.
Activity and a strategy for energy eating helps our bodies flush out toxins, which can weaken how we respond to fighting disease AND what makes us anxious as a result.
Functional day to day activity helps our bodies make more antibodies, which help us to FUNCTION better in our day to day lives in general. As a fitness professional for the last 30 years, I am on a mission to help change the perception of not just WHY a FIT LIFE is critical for change, but HOW it can literally SAVE your life.
